Sorry to break it to you dude, but neither of those is techno.

The first one seems to be some form of hardcore, and the second some form of house..

Hmm... so what exactly are you saying? There is a type of music called hardcore and house?

rofl wow.. you didn't have to go to the extreme by actually posting a pic of how dumb a question i just asked. A simple yes or no would have been fine but I think I get your point anyways... :( Its just not a regular thing for me to go around and ask someone, "hey did you listen to that house music today?" ... just never heard of such a thing.

I used to love this one a while ago, listen to it (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blhCphFC08o) and let me know what you think. There are a bunch of different versions with different voices or no voices at all but I think this is the one.

The voices kinda.... ruin it. I'd rather have a man be singing or a talented girl... not a baby. I don't mind at 1:50+ because its actually a good rhyme and everything but The background noises r so annyoing.

Saying those aren't techno is like saying System of a Down isn't rock, but that they're metal. Techno is the super-genre or genre or whatever you'd call it (though you end up with sub-sub-sub-genres then), the first one is probably closer to generic Dance music, and the second is very House-y indeed :). (Edit: I guess this could be debated, but around here at least people call all electronic music Techno instead of electronica or whatnot)

If you want Hardcore try some Angerfist (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAjW6haDGYw) (skip to 55 seconds in if you think the intro's too annoying).

Try looking into some other genres, you might like them :). Here's some Hardcore/Gabber (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uo8XMXX8DVw), Happy Hardcore (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBs-TJRl95s), Drum+Bass (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KjfgIcuEZaA&feature=related), Dance (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxu6iQ28arw), Trance (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIpQzNj6Y3U), and Noise with rhythm (Speedcore) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JD-9GXlqwnw)

:p

The whole genre is called electronic music, and techno is a sub genre. And the first song is just crappy hardcore. XD

Ok, it's just that when people say electronic it makes me think of disco/Freezepop-like stuff. You're supposed to be insulting the last song, not the first :p.

Also, hardcore is probably the easiest to rave to in terms of pretty much all music, but you still have to have lots of bass :)
