I am currently working on a script that requires a server. I have made one myself. However I want to share my script on the forums, but I know people are not to fond of dowloading and running executable files off the net.

So my question is...

Is there a way to have a mod or something varify that the file is safe, so that everyone does not have to be worried about viruses?

The reason I am asking this is because, I dont want to put a script up that no one will even look at just because there worried the file might be corrupt.

Thanks.

just post it and ask people to scan it and stuff or scan it yourself and show a screenshot of it... otherwise you will just have to do it another way

You can always just post the source and have people compile it themselves.

Both good ideas. Thanks a lot.

You could have a admin or someone trustworthy on the forums conform its fine.

Your best bet is to post the exe with the source. I wouldn't quite trust an admin verification myself as you could easily hide a keylogger that doesn't dial out, or something.

once a couple people scan everyone will know you are safe.
