Ok, I am debating whether or not to buy it : Reasons:

Price change... will it go down after i buy it.
Is it worth it?

And one small question:

So if I don't use the special thing during battle the stats will stay the same?

i wish i had the money to buy it. I dunno how much is a dragon fire shield now like 25m or sumthing. Look at it this way, you could buy that, or get near 99 range, or get a godsword (i think). Unless your gunna go around killing steel drags n such, i dont think its worth it.

i dont think it will go down. But if u kill drags much u should buy it. if not ^^ no its not worth it.

DFS sucks for killing iron/steel drags. only use is places where you need insane melee/range def (solo bandos/solo armadyl/mithril dragons) , youre better off having rune defender im. (att bonuses > def bonuses in most cases)

I owned a DFS and I believe it is overrated. If you are attacking something that does not hurt you, then you are going to be using rune defender. I only found it useful if you a) killed dagg kings b) GWD or c) fought in melee range while ranging.

Short Story: Its alright if you kill a lot of boss monsters a lot.

Its more like 15m. It is a great shield, but of course the price will drop. There are always more being found. New shields come out and that will drop a ton more. As stated, the range and such defense is great. It could be very useful. It still adds attack, so the defender isn't that much better. Looks cool. Kind of depends on your level. For me I like it because i do do many bosses. And to me the god sword prices are going crazy so I prefer whip and DFS over a god sword for now. Plus its a safer route. I think its up to you. The price drop is a sure thing. Maybe not for awhile but it will happen. Shields nice, but is expensive.

i would only buy it if i was pvping other wise i think i would not need it really it could lose to much value in the G.E.

I think it's pretty much worth if, if you pk alot/fight bosses. And your stats do go -1 when you do the special of dfs in combat. I recommend not using it though, doesn't hit really good.
