Question about SRL-Member

Hello.
I know that you need to make a good script to become an SRL-Member, and then you can apply. I was wondering what is a fairly easy script I can make to become a member. (I don't want to make a crappy script just to be a member easily). So...I don't want to take advantage of making an easy script, but what is a good, easy script I can make?

well walking is always good so make sure you've got that in along with failsafes and such, DTM's, bitmaps help, so yeah generally know everything in the easy and intermediate tutorial sections and write a script using what you know, you'll need anti-randoms and multiplayer etc etc.

We'd like to see a script that shows off your knowledge of SCAR and SRL. Using the walking and banking functions as well as correctly implementing some higher-level concepts like TPA's will show us that you really know what you are doing.

Also, having a better attitude than "the world is so funny. lol." will help get you in also.

There are tons of different options. I'd suggest picking something repetitive that you like doing in-game (or are used to doing, or something), and make a script for it.

Also remember that they look for walking, so remember to add that it. They love DTMs and DDTMs too :P

I suggest a wood cutter. There are lots of things that are required to make a wood cutter that will get you in.

The only thing you want is to be able to use the Member scripts. I guarantee that you will not write one "advanced" script when you do get to be one. You should script to help, not reap the benefits.

First of all you're talking about making an "easy script to get into members" and you totally contradicted yourself with your posts. Went from saying that all you want it to make a simple code to get in to "I'm not doing this just to get into SRL - Members, but if I was...that would be nice." Actually take your time with your first script, make it nice.

To stop confusion you need 2 main things:

1. Decent SRL knowledge, which can be demonstrated by the complexity of the script. If you have the things listed by others such as DDTM's, walking long distances, efficient and working failsafes.

2. Good attitude. A good script wont be accepted if the user only wants to get to the member scripts and bugger off. If you show an interest in scripting, helping others and general ability then fine.

yes, scripts play a big part in an application, but if your a leecher who happens to be half decent then there will be some doubts as to if you get in or not.

I'm gonna start making a script tomorrow...and for all you jerks who think I just want to get into SRL-Members, you are wrong. I plan on making more than one.
