Hi again, it's me Camo Kyle. This time I'm going to show you how to get free ringtones! Say that it's impossible? Not with this amazing tutorial. I know what you are thinking, ringtones are never free, they charge your account. Not with this! It's as easy as 1,2,3...or as a more popular saying, "So easy a Caveman can do it." Now, here is what you're going to need.
<><><><><><><><><><><><>
-=Required items=-
1) A cell phone. (Duh! :duh:)
2) A phonezoo account. (Will walk you through)
3) Either WiFi internet or a data package to download the ringtone.
<><><><><><><><><><><><>
Now, to start getting free ringtones all you need to do is go to PhoneZoo. (http://phonezoo.com/Welcome.do) Next, click on the SignUp button.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v489/LilDukey/SignUp.jpg
After you do that you will be brought to a Registration page. Fill in your details like so. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v489/LilDukey/Register.jpg
After you hit Register you will be brought up to a page where you fill in your phones details. First select your Carrier, then enter your number. After you select your Manufacturer, pictures of phones made by them will pop up. Example, I have the Tilt.

After you hit done you will be brought to a Verify Phone page. Just make sure your details are correct and hit Verify phone. As soon as you hit verify and before the next page loads you will get a text message. Just put the code it says into here on the name page.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v489/LilDukey/Verify.jpg
Then hit the Submit Verification button. You should then get a conformation page. Good job! You now have a Phonezoo account. Almost time for free ringtones! :D
<><><><><><><><><><><><>
You are now at the main menu. Click on the Ringtones tab in the top left hand corner. You can either browse by category or do your own search. I know what I want but I'm going to search for it.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v489/LilDukey/Search.jpg
Now, I just love the Cornholio so I'm going to find one. The one at the very bottom is the best on the first page so I'm going to choose that one. Click on the play button next to it to see how it sounds. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v489/LilDukey/Play.jpg
If that is the one you want just click the title of it. You will be brought to the ringtone page. On some of them you can edit, but this one you can't. Just click on the Send to Phone button to get it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v489/LilDukey/Send.jpg
You will get a page stating that it has been sent to your phone and how to get it. You can just ignore it. You can now keep searching for more ringtones or anything else you want from there. Remember, it's all free! So there you have it, free ringtones!
<><><><><><><><><><><><>
If you like it then don't forget to +Rep by clicking this button right here http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v489/LilDukey/Rep.jpg

THANKS FOR READING!

This looks kind of like myxertones.com. Have you tried myxertones. If you have, which is more reliable?

I'd like to point out that this isn't entirely free if you don't have free text messages.

I don't think my phone can support custom ringtones (Sidekick Slide by Motorola), or maybe I just don't know how they work >_< - How exactly are these sent to your phone? Pic Message....some other way?

@ Botsrs. Well that's just common sense now isn't it? Don't post idiotic things like that. Use your brain.

As a pic message.

My phone doesn't let me save whatever my friends sometimes attach as a sound to a pic message, that means I can't use this?

Does that = Pic Message?

No, it sends you a text with a link to the file. Just click on it and it brings up the internet to download it.

Well then. When I hit "Send to Phone" it tells me to visit the site on my phone. Answer me that one. ;)

Here we go.

When you buy your phone, it comes with a USB/Firewire cord.
Plug that into your computer. Use a music editing program to crop the segment you want, send it to your phone.

My LG Rumor doesn't have one of those ports, and a cable didn't come with it.

They secretly charge you fees. Have fun when you get your phone bill.

Whenever I try downloading something on my phone from the internet, it tells me that the link is not supported. Does that mean I can't do this? Or are ringtones usually different?

That means you can't use this service. You need a phone that supports the internet in order to use this.

I have internet. I'm saying that usually my phone doesn't let me download things from the internet - are ringtones any different?

EDIT: Then again, I doubt anyone would know the answer to that, guess I'll have to try for myself later.

Ringtones are no different. If your phone won't let you download things normally, you can't download ringtones in this method.
