1. Getting to the Site.
This isn't very hard at all. Visit here:
http://www.portforward.com/

2. Finding your Router.
When you get to the site, you should get a screen like this, click the link shown:

Then, find your router on this page, and click it:

Don't know what your router make is? Go look at the side of your router:

3. Finding the Application.
You can use the simple "find" function for this. Ctrl + F. I'll be using Warcraft III to show your the find function.

4. Following the Site's Tutorial.
This is pretty straight forward, too.
Your router password-ed?
Try this; User: admin Password: admin
Doesn't work? Then sorry. Contact your ISP, if your old enough.

5. Need Extra Help?
Need extra help? PM me or post with pictures, and I'll get back to your ASAP.

Nice, a little bit of knowledge that some people don't have. Put together pretty nicely, like the pics also. Good job ;)

Usually portforward.com includes the default username and password and the IP to access router configuration...

I altogether have another problem...
The past month port forwarding has started to fail me
I've tried many different ports and many different times
port forwarding only works for about 5 minutes and then it just stops working
I check settings and port rule is still active
if you change port it works again for 5 minutes and then nothing
after awhile it just stops working altogether
ofc if I disconnect PC from router and wait for a period of time it starts to work again (I never tried this only when my computer shuts down for the day - i need internets all the time)

I have not tried restarting my router (too lazy... - once again i need internets all the time)

Also maybe if someone can explain DMZ and the such as possible solutions?
