Turn off laptop monitor

I'm using a laptop, and I want a program that will turn off my laptop monitor while I'm autoing.

The program must have these options:

1.Free

2.You can set a key that will turn on your monitor when pressed.
(such as Ctrl+Alt+M)

Because, if you're autoing, the mouse will move and will turn on your monitor. Or when the script relogin, the monitor will turn on too, because you press your keyboard. So, you must set up your key.

What I have done is quite simple:
I make sure my laptop keeps running, and does not enter sleep mode when I 'close' it. As soon as you close it, the monitor will automatically shut itself off. That should solve your problem.

Riffe, advice for future - The tutorial sections are NOT tutorial request sections! If there is a tutorial request section then requests obviously belong there.

Go into your power options and set when lid closes, set it to NONE.

Read a tut. It is actually way more fun than any video game I've played. (Scripting is). Its a challenge to beat the machine. Challenges are fun lol.

EDIT: Oh, btw. I use a regular computer. Smart screws up when It has to re load after comming out of my screensaver so i set the screen saver to only come up after 9999 minutes lol. It works. I just shut off my moniter when Im done autoing.

Soz for that Andy, I try not to do that again. And we have a real spy in our forums. (Andy) That is so freaking cool. If you want to get your monitor off in ur laptop, connetct ur laptop to destop monitor, get laptop monitor off, and then turn desktop monitor off. I use that with my crapy 4 years old lap.
