Hi, I'm getting a new cell phone for christmas but I need to choose fast now (lol).
However, I can't decide which one :

IPhone 3G or Samsung Player Addict(F490) ?

I have an iPod Touch (First Gen). It's one of the best things I've ever had. But I only wish it had some more stuff....Like mobile network, microphone (for some apps), speakers....(*cough* == iPhone *cough*). I imagine it's awesome on the iPhone because you have the mobile network and can use any app anywhere, whereas with my Touch I'm stuck with using internet apps with wifi, but the games alone make it worth it ;)

IMO, I would get neither one. I fail at touch screens that are tiny, and the Player Addict F490's looks a lot bigger, so if I must chose out of those 2, I'd say the latter.

But out of any phone?.. I say the Razr V3M, I've had it for a few years, and it is still working, stable, unbroken, and easily hackable ;) Add an "Other" button pleases ;o

Heres my story:

I've screwed this thing over so many times, dropped down stairs, water spilled on it, pop, drinks, you know it and it has been done.


Yesterday I lost the phone.
I was being a moronic kid and tried to walk on what I thought was a 2 inch pond in someones BACKYARD. The bastard ignored to tell me it was 6 feet deep (Rich people >.>). I started with my left foot and the left side of my body fell in, all the way up to halfway up my chest (I'm about 5' 11"). Completely soaking my phone. I turned it off, and held it next to a heater in a car for an hour as we went to go sledding, left it in there and tried it. It turned on, but every key was messed up. Pressing the number 1 would get me *1+ or qq89.

That night, I went home and completely turned the phone off, took it apart all the way down to the motherboard in the phone, screen detached and all that. I let it sit there one day and BAM.
Keys all work, phone works perfectly. I mean my phone was COMPLETELY submerged in water. Completely. It still works. BlackBerry for life.


I think I rest my case.
I am using the phone right now, 100% perfectly.

What i love is the touch screen, the games and the apps ^^

Calling is a "don't care" for me.

Even though the purpose of cell PHONES is to call, I just can't stand against those little features ^^
