Anyone got this yet? What does it look like when he's throwing stuff?

It sounds like it could be a case of checking if he's throwing stuff at you. Or Infight may work.

I think the current antirandom should work, just get a bitmap or DTM of him and first check for him then check infight if true then run(dir)

No they mentioned changing how a current random acts. I don't know if this changes anything though because I don't know what they mean by throwing stuff.

It means it starts throwing rocks, kinda emberassing to tell, but someone that was using my Powerminer got killed by this golem (i think it was the golem) and he died, SRL randoms didnt notice it was dead so it tried finding the Rock in lubmbridge for 9 hours ! poor soul :(

Ah. When he throws the rocks does it have the hit markers? Or the health bar?

Such good hopes, i like that about you fawki. I told him to definately not macro with it for at least a week and do some quests/play legit, who knows...

And yes the health bar and hit thingie comes, maybe an additional RunAway for the rockgolem so it runs further, cause i've seen it throw these rocks from a long distance.

Well, i'm not entirely sure about it, but i would say yes, it happened to someone next to me, not to my acc. It's practically the same except it throws rocks now too and pretty far aswell, my guess is also that it throws far enough to get you back when you run away using RunAwayDirection.

when you have the evil chicken and you run away, in the chat box it says something like "the evil chicken realises you are out of range and disappears" does this happen with the golem by any chance?

It throws heavy rocks at you, every other two seconds or so, WITH AN INCREDIBLE REACH!! Do RunFar at least. Maybe even more then RunFar because his reach is really enormeous!!

Seems like Jagex has their hands on SRL :mad: Someone could write double runfar or something, that doubles the run lenght and then runs back :cartman:

Already made that, can post it if requested. Btw, scripts that have walking loops can just use those loops when InFight to run away (more stable)

Waaaagh!!! I saw this horrible beast too! It did in two of my players (now i need new pickaxes...:() I managed to see it in action. Fakawi is right...

Finally witnessed what's going wrong with the new Rock Golem! It throws rocks at you. If you run, but are still within reach of the projectiles, you are attracted back to the golem, i.e. you walk back to the golem! So, this explains all the deaths!!!

So, run as far as you can and make sure you are notattrected back to the golem. Check if you are still inFight!

Yeah, that's the real question. If you have Auto-retaliate off, do you still walk back?

If so, this is one more reason to have the Retaliate function in the core rather than wherever it is in the xFunctions.

Confirmed. I got me a new golem, I ran away (auto retaliate off) got hit... but survived. I wasnt attracted :)





Autominers should ALWAYS set Auto Retaliate Off

I dont think the new golem works with the current random because for most of my chars lv 20+ it will odly sit there for 5 mins attacking my chars but not hitting me once so its constantly going back from inventory to stats for like 5 mins straight but it sees its the same so it continues....im not sure but it looks like it clicks on the same exact spot from the inventory to the stats...(not sure) but i wont be surprised if hes banned now....also *offtopic* when it drops ores does it click on the same exact coord everytime? it looks like it

i was using weibs script and sumillions powerminers....the 1st time the entire time it hit 0's then the other time it was killing my other char extremely fast and wasnt running far away enough....i saved it with one hp left and its not an entire noob it has like 21hp's...

It's no too hard to solve this one.

Auto - Retailiate on "off" when mining. On "on" when running fighting scripts.
RunTo with RunFar Enable works.

That should do it.

They actually improved that random by giving it a new range capability (thats what they call it). So, now it just throw rocks and hit you. Thats just it, nothing much

i found a problem with the rock gollems that when autoing on low level characters lvl 11 ish the rock gollems are allso quite low levels this means that they hardly ever hit me and keep hitting 0's. i watched a script runnnig for a whie because i heard the sound of fighting through my speakers when i was in the room and it just sat there getting hit 0's for like 10 minutes. this just spealt autoer for jagex and about 10 people where standing there saying things like
stupid autoer!! cant even handle fights! ROFL

3 days later i logged on to level to about 20 so this wouldnt happen and my account was banned :duh: :( :mad: :(

If someone has the problem of hitting 0s with a cmb 20+ player then I guess we could look into it. Otherwise, sorry for your lose, but you should have got 20 cmb before mining (or any other skill).

Well once I had a golem hitting me 0 continually. I remember i was powermining using Sumilion Powerminer. Everyone was like "Wtf!!" I was lvl 3 that time. I leave it alone and I think I kill the golem in the end cause I had a steel pick in my inventory later.

Anyway, you can also set CheckHealth to false if im not mistaking, this means that the second it sees a fighting bar it starts running, however it can also respond to someone else getting attacked...

the 'new' rock isnt very new any more so if the scripts have be working then u will be fine and its nothing 2 worry about.
