Yes, I've used Google. Don't call me a retard.

I basically need any information you have on VMWare Workstation.

I need to know the advantages of using it, what I can use it for, what I SHOULD use it for, quality, ratings, bugs, etc. I'm clueless when it comes to this field.

Once again, don't flame me for asking. I just need information.

Any help is appreciated :)

What might you want to use it for?

I haven't use VMWare Workstation (as I used MS Virtual PC for autoing, and that worked well), but I have used other VMWare products. I have used VMWare Player and VMWare Converter (both free) to take an image from Acronis and boot into it as a virtual machine, and that worked well. In both cases sharing network connections, and mounting ISOs to virtual CD drives was painless, which are the important features to me at least.

ya i tried it too... it lagged alot and used a lot of resources... could only get 2 going at once with 2 gb ram and a dualcore...

It's a virtual computer inside your computer.

Whatever you want to use it for. In the case of autoing, it allows you to run non-SMART scripts without having to give up your mouse and keyboard.
