SRL Membership & Donation

Hello all,

I haven't been to these forums in a while ('07). I made this thread to ask about SRL Membership & Donations.

Firstly, for SRL Membership is it required that we continue making scripts? (sorta dumb to ask but I want to know, cause i might not have the drive to make more scripts, lol). I have to re-teach myself anyway, but I'm asking in case I do apply.

As for donations, do we have to donate $5? All I have is like $2 in paypal, lol.

You don't have to continue making scripts after SRL Membership, all Membership does is change the colour of your name and other various things, but its fun to keep scripting, explore your scripting ability!

And with the donation thing I doubt they'll just not accept an ammount below $5 :P

And if you do end up donating its best to take a screeny, so that they know that you have donated, I didn't think of that when I did :P

In which case, you should contact one of the admins and provide them with a screenshot of the donation.

After I donated my 10$, there was a message that said...

"Thank You Janilabo,
Your Donation has now been processed. Thank you for this generous donation. It is the generosity of people such as yourself that helps pay for ever increasing bandwidth costs, our hosting Service, domain registration, software licensing fees, and continued improvement. Your new user group status will be assigned to you soon, but may take a few days as this is done by hand and not automatic. ~Dankness"

So PM a screenie of your Paypal receipt and I will deal with it.

I didn't think about looking on the paypal history, I'll look on now and see if its still there after 10 months.

EDIT: I found the history, but I'm not sure what the ID of who the money went to is, to get the right one, please could this be PMed to me for convidential reasons.

OK, no offence or anything, but you seem to be donating purely for the sake of getting the status, which really shouldn't be the reason.

But I donated cos I wanted less lag :p, but its really not that bad, I'm good at maing mountains out of mole hills.
