Defense damagereduction formula?

Has anyone got a clue of how i could find it out? I wanted to ask here before i start my own testing.

What i mean is, how much smaller is the chance of getting hit while you're wearing full rune/black/mithril etc

I don't think any of us know the damage calculation formula (and it sure isn't public). You'd have to ask Jagex, but I'd find it very unlikely that they would tell you.

It could maybe help you loads, if you could find out the def and att bonuses on Roosters and TzTok-Jad.
