New To Scripting

Hi there,
Like many people I used to play Runescape in the distant past when there was no trade limits and there was the 'real' wilderness. It seems that its all pretty much gone to shit now though but I more interested in the challenge of botting and I want to become a top Runescape scripter like many on this forum. Currently I only have a basic understanding off HTML and PHP but nothing fancy.

Can somebody point me the right direction on maybe educational material which would benefit me or suggest what might be my best options?

Thanks for the post guys, it seems there is lots of information on this forum.
