How do you mean Dervish, too simple to be abstract? Is there such a thing?

Sorry it is just my opinion : a little too simple you should add something more that happens, but not too many (like in my sigs).

I don't want to put you down put all I see in your sigs is C4D + Render (opacity reduced) + Winter breeze brush (used in nearly every sig)...

Anyway I really like the thing you got going on there with the circles and the transparency background and the splashes of color coming out of the bird... The really small details is what I think gave the image it's spark =]

10.

Thank you newbiez and NiCbaZ!

Dervish, my work is quite subtle, you have to look a lot of the time to see what I have done, it cant really be taken at face value

I really like it, i wouldn't call it subtle but i really like it 9.5/10.

Torrent of Flame : I'm a much worse photoshopper than you are, but people don't care about time spent, the work, the subtileness, they only like it if it looks good.

And I can't really deduct from your image how long you worked for.
Post it ?

I dont know. 45mins - 1 hour. I dont keep track of time.

I know that Dervish, but I want people to look deeper than things at face value, so I get a better critique.

Then you might want to show the different layers and stuff..?

45 minutes - 1 hour doesn't sound alot :p.

People like pics tat look good simple as. I mean i think modern art is a pile of crap, its not art its just some 6 year old having a fit with paint and some paper, but some people like it and call it art. Art is a matter of opinion.

So someone might hate ToF's pic, and some would think its v good.

Who is better someone who produces a good pic in 20 min, or a good pic in 45. It depends on how well you know the program and how good you are, time doesn't really mean much.

I dont think Dervish meant it in that way, though.
