I am having problems with lag,

any suggestions. I have Scar/SRL on both my mom's computer and my laptop. It works fine on my mom's computer (sort of both of ours but she is controlling). She, while admitting I know much more about computers than her, thinks that everything I do is somehow going to crash the computer. (It is older but still decent. Anyways, so she got mad and doesn't want me to run scripts on her comp, now I can do it without her knowing but I feel kind of bad since she said "DONT RUN ON MY COMPUTER".

So I tried my laptop (Old compaq that I bought a year ago, I bought it just so I could get a BRAND NEW one for college, which at the time was a yr and a half away...

The scripts all run on my laptop (windows 98) but are very laggy. I was trying to use the chicken killer and feather collector one and it would miss the chicken 75% of the time. >_< Here are the results, I don't know if it is worth it to run them or not. Lemme know what you think, and of any ideas I can try. Or suggestions. :p

Its either ur comp is too slow or the script is overdoing things. I usualy have problems with scripts overdoing...

Get a less than 10 years old version of Windows maybe?

Thats strange as Windows 98 if often consider the most stable and fastest version of windows created. The script that you are useing has alot of lag because of the number bitmaps it uses. But WhiteShadow has released a new version thats got a lag fix in it.

What are specifications of your laptop (Processor speed, memory, hdd etc...)

Yea, most likely it's an issue with your laptop being too slow. A way to maybe get rid of a little lag is to go under the task manager, and change, runescape.exe to a higher priority, and scar.exe to a high priority then run the script, makes it so it processes more often on that certain process.
