Broken Mouse

I unfortunately broke my mouse to my old computer:duh:, but the mouse of my new computer doesn't seem to work for the old computer. It plugs in right, but doesn't do anything. Can this mouse actually be too advanced to work on the old computer, or am I doing something else wrong?

You may need to get the drivers for the new mouse. Try to google the mouse with an appended ' driver'. You may get some results.

If you recieved a cd from when you baught the mouse, install it.
Or you could plug it in your computer and restart if if you havnt already did that.
