Probably :P. SCAR Scripting seems like its mostly pascal if not all pascal.
At times. Only really with syntax i guess. But not really. Maybe to get the grasps of say "types" and that sort of thing. But really. Your probably better off at just focusing on learning scar better. Because otherwise you could end up learning a whole lot of pascal that isnt needed.

Hmm I was thinking about this also. I want to learn how to become a better scripter, what should I do or focuse on? I try looking at people scripts but that doesnt really help. Any suggestions?

dude, learning visual basic made me better at scripting stuff (I still suck at it) simply because you get a firm understanding of basics of coding.
Junior its trying scripts that challenge you i guess. You try and script it and no doubt you will come up with a nooby way at first, wait that came out wrong. Usually everyones first attempt to solve a problem is a nooby way. But then you look how others do it and improve and improve. I find going back over what i have already done made me better.

Wow, thanks pyro. Your answer inspired me :), Only thing is when I script and look at other code, it seems I want to copy that code so I guess im just going to have to script without any other scripts open. Thanks again~

Its not bad to copy, just give credit, and read untill you understand part that youre copying. Thats how I learned, ~3 weeks ago I didn't know anything about scripting. I know, youre lots better scripter than I am, but I think you should try the same method.

I've found that if you just make the basics of a script, even if it sucks, can really help you. I started out my Yewcutter with a piece of crap and now its actually pretty good because I just keept adding and editing all the code and functions.
Yip yip skys. Thats the best way.
