Weird that that happened on xp. When people have this problem on vista, it's because they installed SVN in program files Try saving it in another place, even though I can't think of other reasons that it would do that on xp. If that doesn't work, try searching in FAQ or tutorial island for some answers.

You need to run SCAR as an Administrator on your computer.
or...
Just move the plugins manually from SRL's 'MOVE TO PLUGINS FOLDER' folder to SCAR's 'Plugins' folder.

I've had this problem tonight as well. I have been running SCAR for a smooth month now and it was running fine until I used this script: http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=32860
None of my other scripts would run properly, so I decided to reinstall everything. I uninstalled SCAR, and deleted the SCAR 3.15 folder under Programs. I have even reinstalled SVN several times. Now, whenever I try to Checkout, it "cannot move plugins."
I am running Vista. I am the administrator. I am running SCAR as administrator (right-click, run as administrator). I look in the SCAR 3.15 folder and I see a Plugins folder amongst several others. Under the Includes folder, I see a folder titled SRL, but there is nothing in it. Nothing. I've tried manually moving that SRL folder into the Plugins folder, but that didn't do anything either. I'm fairly pissed at Vista; I got it when it first came out (it came with my machine). Any solutions?
I've had it working before, and I'm going to beat the shit out of it soon. If I find a fix I'll certainly post.

Ok lol I think Colluci helped me with this one a while ago. He said that for rev 31 all the plugins are screwed up and in the wrong place. This is what I did:
1) Go here: http://www.srl-forums.com/srl-repos/place%20inside%20plugins%20folder/
2) Click on each of them and download 'em all.
3) For the ones your browser can open, paste into SCAR and give it the correct name, and save in Plugins folder.
4)For all the others you downloaded, move them one by one into the plugins folder.
I hope I'm not forgetting something but I think it should work...

What are you smoking? Obviously this hasn't worked for some people. Did you even bother to read my previous post? I haven't just "downloaded scar 4 teh 1st tiem lol" and "cant figure out how scar works!;" I've had it working before, but it refused to reinstall when I needed to replace everything with SRL Rev #31.

"None of my other scripts would run properly, so I decided to reinstall everything. I uninstalled SCAR, and deleted the SCAR 3.15 folder under Programs. I have even reinstalled SVN several times."
I've uninstalled every version of SCAR that exists. I've already said that. Also, 'more than one scar software downloaded' wouldn't affect the installation process. If it were a different version of SCAR then it would be in the appropriate folder under Program Files. If it were the same version, the installation would overwrite itself. If you happened to install the same version of SCAR in two diferrent locations, that STILL would only affect the plugins folder within the subdirectory that SCAR is running in.

Oh, so that's where it is. I thought I would have installed it under System32. Thanks for telling me this.
@Banditmeow, this sounds promising and makes sense. I'm going to try to update to Rev 28 when I get on Vista tonight; I'll let you know how this works out. Thanks!

It worked! I had to completely restructure my SCAR 3.15 folder, but I finally managed to properly configure the files from the directory you pointed me to. Thanks a lot! If anyone else still has this problem, message me and I'll walk you through the fix. :D

:D Actually I came back to this thread to recopy my message because I saw this problem again lol. Seems to be pretty common for us first time SCAR users. It doesn't seem to be affecting people who have been doing this for a while :P
