Long story short -

Kingstong 4GB wont stay connected to my PC for more then 1 sec, with an 1-2 minute interval wich it tries to connect and then only stays connected for 1 sec.

Any help?

is that a flash drive? if so have you successfully used it before?

Do you have any conflicting hardware?

Have you ever successfully used it before?

Is it formatted to work fine with Windows?

Does it have all the drivers installed?

Does your USB port work fine?

Try booting on Ubuntu and see if you can open it there.

I have no hardware that might be making it not work, as I have an exactly same one that Ive used for a while.

I have not used it ever bfore as it just wont stay connected..

It is FAT32, I think, so yes? (I have an other one thats exactly same)

Idk

USB ports work 100%

Ill try on Ubuntu, if it works there, whats the problem?

The problem is probably messed up drivers if it works in ubuntu. If it doesn't its probably faulty

Try it on Ubuntu. If it works, your Windows probably fails. If it doesn't work there, you probably have a hardware error, IE you got it wet, or some internal wires got loose.

test it in a second port or on a second computer.. if they still dont work its the device, if it works on another port or computer well then its the port or the drivers
