For math there is an extra credit problem. it says "use the numbers 0 through 9 to fill out this problem. it must equal 100" Then it has a blank 2-digit number with a blank fraction that has 2 digits over 2 digits being added to a blank 2-digit number with a blank fraction with one digit over one digit. I need help! i can't figure any out. Answers would be great!!!

-- --/-- + -- --/-- is a picture of the problem

_ _ + _ _ / _ _ + _ / _

Eh, you kinda need to explain and write it out like this.
Thanks

No idea how to do this but i managed to get it after a few minutes of guessing :)

58 + 63/07 + 24 + 9/1

(58 + 9 + 24 + 9 = 100)

It was just luck I guess. All I really did was try random numbers and make sure the fractions came out to whole numbers.
I kept getting answers over 100 so I tried dividing a big number by a small number (63/7) and it worked. :D

It's unfortunate that that answer isn't right because Ejjman1 wrote down the problem wrong (unless the OP said it wrong). It should be:

_ __ _ _ / _ _ + _ / _

EDIT: I guess I read it wrong.

96 + 17/34 + 2/8

96 + 2 + 2 = 100. Is that what you were looking for? I just went by Method's equation.

According to his explanation, there is only one addition sign, not two.

EDIT: Also JAD, that's 96 + 1 / 2 + 1 /4, which is definitely not 100.

Wow. Is it possible that I'm drunk right now without knowing it? Lol.

But what does that mean then? What are you supposed to do with the 2 added fractions and the first number?

The first number is a mixed number, like 2 3/4 and the other is just a fraction. You add the two numbers together.

A mixed number is a whole number added with a fraction, so it can be looked at as addition like that.

93 85/17 + 4/2

Got it! 85/17 = 5 added to 93 makes that 98, then add 4/2 = 2 with 98 and you get 100.

a blank 2-digit number with a blank fraction that has 2 digits over 2 digits being added to a blank 2-digit number with a blank fraction with one digit over one digit.

That's a mixed number added to another mixed number which is what I had.

58 63/07 Added to 24 9/1

That's exactly what a mixed number is; A whole number added to a fraction.

I must've skipped over some part of the explanation when I was reading through it. Sorry for that confusion.
