Im looking into learning how to program in Objective-C. Considering I have already learned C++, SCAR, Visual Basic, and Interactive C, I dont think it should be that hard :)

Unfortunately, Iv been unable to find a good tutorial (some get started with concepts I havent learned yet, and others go on and on trying to explain what programming is).

I was wondering if any of you knew of any good, descriptive tutorials on objective-c or iphone app development that can help me get started.

Thanks,
Macrosoft :norris:

If you want to develop for iBricks, you need (1) a mac, and (2) a dev license ($100). Of course, you could always set up a 'hackintosh' and use the SDK-included brick-simulator. But that really doesn't sound like much fun to me..

Could you possibly point me in the right direction to get "Hackintosh"? I've got an iPhone but I'm a PC user; I have everything I need to start developing iPhone apps except for a mac =/.

Feroc1ty, go to http://www.insanelymac.com/ and you should be able to find the information. No one distributes the hackintosh images though, so you'll need to search for the right hackintosh name on certain torrent websites. If you want to be nice to Apple, you should purchase a copy of leopard before you do it as well. If you don't want to waste your time doing it yourself, you can also go get a nice Psystar (http://www.psystar.com/). Then, to do iPhone development, get Xcode on your mac, and find the SDKs on the Apple website. I haven't done the iPhone dev part, but I have installed a hackintosh before (with a valid Mac OSX license mind you).

"obtain" a copy of the Mac OS, and put it in a VM ;)

Edit: http://torrentz.com/search?q=osx86 should help you find a iso for OSX. 10.5.6 is the most recent version.

I know you're trying to help but links aren't allowed.

Whoops, I'm sorry! Didn't mean to post those, I guess I need to go read the rules again.
