I have no idea how to create ads for a site and get a profit from them.

no no no no... adsense is shit unless someone buys a product, go with adbrite (http://www.adbrite.com/mb/landing_both.php?spid=108439&afb=120x60-1-red)! it has better payment, lower minimum withdrawl amount, and rich media ads

adbrite requires an SSN... What parents want to put there own, or someone else SSN online?

Or else i would do it.
