No, it is not possible because when on sleepmode your computer "sleeps", you wake it buy clicking or pressing space, it's like you; you can not make coffee when asleep ;)

that would be cool, because it doesnt make a sound then, does it?
But no i dont think you can, but are there any similar that make your computer not make a sound?

Sleep mode will not "save you a lot of power". It uses almost the same as if your computer was concidered full on. All it does is disable your video card, and turns down the fans a bit.

Well it should be able to, if you go into device manager and find your network adapters, go properties then to power management and uncheck the box that says something along the lines of "turn off this device to save power" shouldn't the net and scripts still be running?

I dont think so.. doesnt sleep mode pauses all your currently running processes and e.g. when u move your mouse it'll active them again? Arent u looking for the screensaver mode instead?

Normally, I just turn off the screen. let the computer run.
my comp doesn't make any sounds except in booting. I mute the rest?

RSBot has the ability to run when sleeping, and I assume SMART would as well. I've never actually tried it though, but people say it works. If you want to try it do what jenovaclone said.
@mrpickle
Most people don't have ub3r computers that make no noise when running :p

Wait, I have heard about SMART being able to... Search for something like "SMART sleep mode", You have to turn on some things for letting Java send information over net (or something)

Yeah i was wondering about the java thing as well, you'll need to do the same thing i listed above for java which will be hard as it's different for everyone. Theoretically it should work but you'll need to do some tweaking.
