About 3 months ago while playing piano, I noticed my wrists starting to hurt. I thought it was nothing and that it would just go away. Over the course of the week, it gradually got worse. Within about 2 weeks, it got so bad where I had to stop piano and drums completely, stop golf, and I couldn't really lift anything without it hurting.
I went to an orthopedic, he looked at my wrists, took x-rays and said nothing was wrong; he said I was just growing (I just grew like 7 inches in a few months). We went to a chiropractor and she said I have tendonitis in my elbows. I also have thumb tendonitis.
It hurts to type and do a lot of things now. The chiropractor has been doing treatments over the past month and a half, and I have gotten a little better to the point where I can golf and play instruments a little. It still hurts, but I can do them now.
I'm just wondering, has anyone else here ever had tendonitis? How long have you had it for? Did it ever completely go away? Could I have just gotten it because I was growing? I'm just nervous right now that I will never to be able to golf much again... :( It's very depressing; you'd be amazed at how many activities require the use of the wrists.
