Guide to Cups

[Shuttleu]

You get cups based on things that you have done apart from one which is based on the length of time that you have been at SRL

Cups:


Yoda Cup
http://villavu.com/forum/images/ranks/oldtimer.png - You get this one when you have been at SRL for 2 years or more and are a SRL Member or higher


SRL Aristocrat
http://villavu.com/forum/images/ranks/aristocrat.png - You get this when you make a lot of good functions and suggestions for SRL


Donator
http://villavu.com/forum/images/ranks/donator.gif - You get this when you have donated $5 or more


SRL Helper
http://villavu.com/forum/images/ranks/helper.png - You get this when you have helped people several times who are having trouble with scripting


SRL Tutorial Writer
http://villavu.com/forum/images/ranks/tutorial_writer.png - This is for when you have written several helpfull tutorials


SRL Developer
http://villavu.com/forum/images/ranks/developer.gif - - This is for people who help improve SRL. You must also be a SRL Dev


SRL Administrator
http://villavu.com/forum/images/ranks/administrator.gif - To get this you must be a SRL Admin


SRL Random Developer
http://villavu.com/forum/images/ranks/randomdeveloper.png - You get this if you have created random solvers for SRL


SRL Useful Poster
http://villavu.com/forum/images/ranks/usefull_poster.png - This is given if you make lots of usefull posts around SRL


SRL Master
http://villavu.com/forum/images/ranks/master.gif - This is for people that have amazing scripting abilities


Moderator

SRL Scripter
http://villavu.com/forum/images/ranks/scripter.gif - This is given to only the best of scripters


SRL Valued Voter
http://villavu.com/forum/images/ranks/valuedvoter.png - This is given to the SRL Members that vote a lot about whether the Member applications should be accepted or not


Best Newcomer
http://villavu.com/forum/images/ranks/newcomer.gif - This is given to the best of the Newcomers to SRL


Competition Winner
http://villavu.com/forum/images/ranks/competition.png - This is given to the winners of the SRL scripting competition


SRL Tester
http://villavu.com/forum/images/ranks/tester.png - This is given to the people who test out new scripts, functions, procedures etc.


Wiki Writer
http://www.villavu.com/forum/images/ranks/srlwikiscaled.png - Only people who help write and correct the SRL Wiki get these


Reflection Developer
http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/4438/refdeveloper3.gif - This cup is given to people who help develop and improve Reflection


Simba
http://villavu.com/forum/images/ranks/simbacup.png - There was a bit of confusion with this cup, but it is believed to be given to people who have written and developed Simba


MSI Phoenix
http://i25.tinypic.com/e6po2a.gif - This is given to the people who have written and developed MSI


SRL Market Banned User
http://villavu.com/forum/images/ranks/srlbannedmarket.png - This is a bad cup to get, it means that you are banned from trading in the SRL Black Market

Mostly Harmless
http://villavu.com/forum/images/ranks/harmless.gif - This is also another bad cup to get and you should avoid. This is a warning, but not quite a ban

You're missing the SRL Tester cup, gained by testing out new SRL functions. Or something like that. It's the crash test dummy one.

I barley knew how to script when I got it, so I'm guessing its people who have helped others with everything regarding SRL (how to set it up, scripting, etc.).

Only other one I can think of at the moment is Competition Winner's ;)

Actually no it doesnt. You have to be a SRL Member to get the oldtimer cup, I am pretty sure of it ;)

I believe village clown is when you're very annoying on SRL, but the admins don't want to ban you, so they give you the cup for shame.

i didnt know anything when i came to srl
it took me a week to write a script to move the mouse from one side of the screen to the other XD

Having an avatar without being an SRL-Member, the cup is just as some recognition for helping out srl/the site I guess.

The award is given out the those new members that show a positive attitude towards learning how to script and who attempt to fix problems instead of giving up. The SRL Staff have seen great potential in these members and encourage them to continue scripting and improving themselves.

The Junior member competition, my script didn't work for like a week, i couldn't give up, after all i did, i worked really hard for a week, till i found another way to make it :).

Pretty sure that the promising newcomer was supposed to be replaced with the old timer's. That's what happened to mine. Reason your no longer a newcomer :P
