Don't know much about them, but they're just Google's web spiders that 'crawl' around the internet looking for pages to list up on Google pretty much :)

They are for google. For like if someone types a search in google, could link to your topic.

Umm, well they are spiders that index the internet and they won't find your site unless you have a link from a popular site to yours or you submit it (submitting its noob :p).
