Hi, I need a free IP hider.

I decided to ask here since when I use google, all I get is virus infected downloads.

I've been a bad boy on some servers in COD.

Please suggest.

I don't think there is something as a IP Hider, there is a thing such as an IP Spoofer.

If you have a dynamic IP address then wait out a bit and it shall change.

+1 Agreed.

Try this one and if you have AVG, scan the download before installing, there are a lot of con websites like you mentioned :s

Tor will help you, will lag your game to badness but it will do it.

Edit:Sorry hobbit...

TOR is ?

Spoofer spoofs IP's.

TOR is an onion network. Basically a proxy that runs your connections through on average 20 other connections so its very hard to track original host.

But yeah, if you have a dynamic IP refresh it yourself.
Figure out the internal IP of your modem, put that in your web browers and go there. Log on to it, its usually the default password, you can easily google it. Then in there look through the settings till you find an option that says "Refresh Lease" or "Renew Lease" or "Cycle Lease" etc. This will reset your connection and grab a new IP from your ISP

I would think that to be more suspicious because then it appears like you are trying to hide someting. No dynamic IP would refresh itself while you are using the connection at a level like playing RS. So if you change you IP during the game (If thats really possible) it would be highly suspicious.

Hobbit - Can't you do a thingy in CMD called ipconfig /renew instead of a reset, or do they do potentially the same thing.?

I believe that is only internal IP if you are on say a network.

Like for example, my home network. I have the piece of crap Telus Modem/Router. Telus assigns the IP to that, now i have 2 routers coming out of the first modem/router and they separate my network and my parents. My networks interal IP is 10.x.x.x theirs is 172.16.x.x So even and the modem/routers is 192.168.x.x. So even though there are 3 separate networks, they all have the same external IP. So in this case it would only refresh the internal IP of that computer.

In the case of a strictly modem so like only 1 computer can be hooked up at a time with out a router, that may be different because there is only a single host, not many.

The routers can use DHCP to distribute different local IPs to each member of the network I believe. But since they are hooked up to the same internet they all have the same IP.

The routers can use DHCP

Obviously unless you want to do it manually every time you connect a computer.

distribute different local IPs

Exactly what I said... internal IP. Those are only for identification within the network, it will do you no good on the internet.

But since they are hooked up to the same internet they all have the same IP.

External IP. This is what Jagex etc sees and flags.

You can use HideMyIp, free for 30 days and it is possible to re-download. It's also possible to make it be an add-on for firefox (you can choose "Install add-on for firefox" when installing or something similar).

his IP is most likely static, or dynamic every year (most are now a days), most he can do is buy a VPN, or connect thru a VPS.

I used that, then looked for a cracked version then had to format my comp...
