All that is man

Ok to start off, yes, I play WoW(World of Warcraft).

Ok, so the problem is, every once in a while i'll get like a 3 second lag.

I.E.
<bullet>If i click on a spell then it'll take about 3 seconds my screen will kinda "lock-up" and then when it comes back i'll be lower on health and so will the monster.
<bullet>And if someone is talking in Ventrilo. They'll be talking and they'll stop but when the lag is up they'll complete the sentence.
<bullet> I.E. "Get the b-" <3 seconds later> "oss and then the mobs."

And it gets really annoying. I have all the ports open required to play and i've tried restarting my router a couple of times.

Any help will be highly appreicated thanks!

Try booting Windows in safe mode and initializing everything needed to play WoW manually.

If you don't get lagg, it's a process on start-up that's causing it. If not, it's your internet. :P

I recommend you to shut down all programs which take connection while you're playing and using the voice chat of WoW.

Turn off all the updates and stuff.

It is WoW's fault, an Internet connection can only take so much of a fail game at once.

In a more serious matter, go to Start -> Run -> msconfig -> Startup -> Uncheck everything you do not need to boot on startup. Reboot computer.

If you are using WLAN, try using Ethernet.

If that fails, then your ISP is fail.
