Note to all users


I will only be updating this script to fix bugs, I will NOT be adding features or making any major changes at this time. Also, you are using this script at your own risk. I cannot guarantee you won't be banned. This script is not perfect. You will notice some "fishy" mouse movements because not every part of the tree is "clickable". I've done what I can to reduce this, but it still happens. Be aware.

uggg... i did that too and it still doesnt work. its weird cause i havent really had a problem with smart until now.

Meh. Sign up for zaszmedia.com/forums and then delete your main SRL folder (C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.20\includes\SRL) and then download this (http://www.zaszmedia.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=29) (you have to sign up then go to that link) and follow the instructions. If that doesn't work, then you're doing something wrong and I'll make a vid for you :p

Hmm alright well the only thing I can tell you is delete the contents of your SRL folder and do an SVN Checkout with the OpenDev link. That's what worked for me. :)

If that doesn't work, then you must be something wrong, sorry.

yeah dude runs good. the banking and walking is amazing..only problem is its takes a 3-5 mins break after every load..takes up alot of time when trying to level. i would change that to take break after maybe 5-7 loads instead of every single one. but other than that great script:)

Yeah it doesn't support a Dragon Hatchet, I'll add it in when I get the time.

Uhm, it's probably me, but when I take a look at both scripts, the only similarity I see is that both scripts got the mainloop in the procedure, and the DeclarePlayers has 3 lines the same (players[0].name, pass, and nick to be exact).
Oh well, it could be me though, I need to get new glasses next week anyways.

In the naming you mean? That's just for my convenience so I know which section each procedure is in. Doesn't save a lot of time in these shorter scripts, but once you get into longer ones I find it pretty useful. :)

Okay, that's odd, but I will tell you how to fix it.

If you're getting this error:



Line 18: [Hint] (20:1): Variable 'P' never used in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.20\includes\SRL\SRL\Misc\SMART.SCAR


Then you didn't update to the newest Dev Rev properly, that issue was fixed a long time ago.

I don't know why you're getting this error, with the Dev Rev it's fixed, but..


Line 352: [Error] (19790:38): Type mismatch in script C:\Documents and Settings\Dillon\Desktop\Coh3n's Draynor Chop N' Bank V.0.4.scar

With that error change that line to this:

Result := CountItems(Logs, 'dtm', []);

If you get to the Willow trees and it doesn't click them, it just moves the mouse from tree to tree rapidly, then you must not have install SCAR 3.21 or the Dev Revision correctly.

If you're positive you installed it correctly, and it's still not working, try using another script first, and see how that goes.

oopssss! I guess I missed that lol. I installed the latest dev and it works! Thanks! Just one problem. I started in the bank it went outside to the willow tree's and then it just sat there hovering the smart red dot over the trees. It did not click none.

That's a problem when the texts. You musn't have installed one of the above correctly, with SCAR 3.21 the uptexts have been fixed. Try updating/reinstalling, this has fixed that issue for a lot of people ASAIK.

Nevertheless, I will test it out now and edit this post.

EDIT: It works perfect for me, so try what I said above and see if that solves your problem.

That's a problem that some people are getting, all you have to do is download a certain file or change globals.scar. I see you've already posted on this thread.

Okay honestly, I'm sorry that I'm taking this out on you, but the same question has been asked 100 times! Read the requirements on the first post, you need at least SCAR 3.21 Alpha and the OpenDev Revision.

That means there's something wrong with your SRL folder, delete the whole thing, then try getting OpenDev again.

Dude, honestly, read the requirements for using the script before posting, or maybe look through some of the other problems, your question has been answered 100 times on this thread. You need SCAR 3.21 Alpha or better and the OpenDev Repository, if you don't now how to get it, check the first post.

I've answered the same questions over and over again. Only post your problems here if you have all the requirements listed on the first post, and you've installed them successfully, and you've at least tried to look for a solution to the problem.

What does it say in the Debug box when it stops? And the walking doesn't happen all the time does it? Just sometimes? I should be able to tweak it a little to make it work. :)

I have no idea why it stops if it's still at the trees. :confused: It may be because SMART loses focus, and that's something I can't help. As for the walking look at line 221:

if RadialWalk(W_BankColor, 0, 77, 68, -2, 1) then

Try making the '68' a little smaller, and if it still doesn't work, try a little smaller, and so on. Let me know how that goes. :)

the problem about the auto log out it's because in the debug box it's saying that it found a random events but i wasn'T in a random event when i logged back on and after it say attemp random solving failed kk WTH?

That is really weird, but I don't think that's a problem when my script, I'll look around and see if I can find a solution.

EDIT: There was a bug with one of the randoms, but that should be fixed now. Try updating SRL.

Try making the '68' a little smaller, and if it still doesn't work, try a little smaller, and so on. Let me know how that goes. :)

People were having that problem when the texts were updated, that should be fixed for in the new Revision. And the script isn't suppose to show the Debug box or the "length: blah blah blah" I must have left that in by mistake, I'll upload a new version now for you guys.

- Fixed breaking, should now break for about 15 minutes after running for 1 hour. Was an incredibly stupid math error on my part, I honestly don't know what I was thinking.
- Hopefully improved the walking to the bank.
- Little tweaks here and there.

I have tested this version myself and everything seems to be working perfectly for me, if you are having problems, don't just give up, tell me so I can try and fix them for you. :)

It should still find the right booths because it checks the uptexts. When I've tested it, yes, sometimes it does move over the wrong bank booth, but then it just moves on to the right ones and banks fine. Are you saying that's not the case? That is just checks the wrong booths a couple times then logs out, saying it can't find the bank?

I am going to make the fining randoms better, and try to improve the walking to the bank as sometimes walks a little north-west of the bank and then can't find the booths.

There should be a new version working in a couple hours. The current version still works fine, I'm just going to try and work out some bugs.

Well two hours isn't bad. :) But that's not suppose to happen anymore, apparently the failsafe wasn't enough. Does it happen a lot? Also, post progress report? You would have had the best one posted if you did. ;)

Nice reports, as for the "spazzing" motions, it doesn't do that all the time right? Because for me it just does it once in a while, and to be honest, there isn't much I can do about that. I'll try, but it's not going to be perfect.

You're always going to get Randoms, you can't control that. If the script fails at solving a random, report it in the Randoms Bugs section of the website to help develop working Randoms solvers. :)

The bank pin 'enterer' is totally useless >:(
is it only me who has this problem or...

EDIT: The mouse is just moving around the screen not clicking anything until the failsafe starts and it opens bank screen again.

@deadzone - What Sabzi said, always read the post before you download the script.

@Ilm1 - The last I heard the bank pin solver in SRL wasn't even working, unless it's updated in the latest Dev Revision, but I've been away so I have no idea. A simple fix would be to just take your bank pin off. There's nothing else really I can tell you. If you use another script and it opens the bank by entering the pin then please tell me so I can look at my script. :)

Hmm that is possible, I've heard of that happening before, but if that's true than it's not a problem with my script, it's a problem with SRL. Does this happen every time you try to run it?

EDIT: I just tested and it's working fine for me. Try updating your SRL, that may solve your problems. :)

I thought I mentioned that it my guide, but maybe not. All you have to do is right click on the SRL folder (SCAR 3.21/includes/srl) and choose "SVN Update" and wait for the updates to download. That should do the trick. :)

No, that covers everything you need to do. :confused:

But you say it does that for other scripts too? So try and get 81 Woodcutting and then run a script, or does it say that for any skill you try to auto? If it's just woodcutting than I'm thinking that's a problem with SRL getting 8's and 0's mixed up.

EDIT: I've tried 3 different scripts, the miner dont start at all, and both your script says im wc lvl 0.

Uhm since when does Jagex allow hyphens in usernames? As far as I know, no symbols of any kind are allowed in usernames. If this has changed, then it would be an issue with SRL and I'm sure it is getting fixed as you read this. :)

Is it possible to break it such as: 'mr'&'-'&'fred'&'-'&'bloggs' ? The ampersand is representing adding text strings together - I have tried both ampersand and the plus symbol. The plus symbol works for the script but still does not print a hyphen in the login box :(

The script will move from one tree to the next without the tree finishing 50% of the time. Sometimes it gets wild and starts clicking every where!
I love the script, banking is quick, on second load at the moment.

And, I'm aware of that problem. Now that I released my guide, I'm basically rewriting both my woodcutters. Right now I have reduced that problem significantly, and an updated version should be uploaded sometime in the next couple days.

Yeah, that's a problem with SRL and FindNormalRandoms as it will click the music button every time it is called. Update your SRL, and that should be fixed.

I would have used it longer and had great proggie for you... but there is 1 problem. It frequently clicks on the dark wizards, and with no fight/run procedure. Hey no problem, and I've never had it click the Dark Wizards before, but I am working on a total rewrite, so it'll be 100% better. Hopefully that will fix your problem. The new version should be ready sometime in the next couple days.

Fantasic news Coh3n. I think when it clicked on the wizard was due to fact that camera was at angle so that the wizard was behind the tree where the mouse clicked on tree.

Fumaor im no scripter but I belive most of the scripts writen do not solve the random, its the srl includes, so would not be Coh3ns fult that the randoms are not solved.

And yes, the randoms solvers are in SRL and currently there are a few that don't work, but the people working on them are doing their best to get then working as soon as possible. :)

Hey thanks for posting that, and that walking bug is something that shouldn't happen, and it will be fixed in then new version.

EDIT: I'm just going through the testing stages of the new version, and it's looking pretty good, so keep an eye open. ;)

This version should work much, much better than the last versions. Sometimes be banking is a little slow, but other than that, it's pretty much flawless from what I can tell.

Please post all suggestions/bugs/progress reports. Here is a proggy I just got. I stopped it manually so I could release the new version to you guys. :)

Do you mean how it clicks the Music tab? It still does that occasionally, but not nearly as much as it used to. It shouldn't.

XD Lmao, that's not suppose to be in there, I added those to my PowerChopper. There were a lot of things in common that I changed between the two scripts so I copied/pasted and added some more for this one, I'll edit that out straight away. Thanks for that. :p

Haha thanks for the compliment, but I've got another project already on the go. It's actually almost done, just going through all the testing stages and finishing touches. :p

Can't tell you what it is though, I'm not sure if it will be released to Members or Jr. Members yet. We'll have to see.

I then tested it with a rune hatchet, and it works I suppose.. cut 6 willows then it just kinda sat around for a couple minutes switching back from invent to music. It's a serious bug, it needs to spend more time cutting willows.

Okay thanks for letting me know about the Dragon Axe, and the Music bug isn't in the script. There's nothing I can do about that. It's a bug in SRL that clicks the music tab every time FindNormalRandoms is called.

I've been told it only occurs in certain areas in RS, Draynor being one of them. Don't ask why this happens because I have no idea, but it should pass eventually.

I'll update the dragon hatchet DTM as soon as I can, thanks again for the feedback. :)

Players[0].Integers[0] := 5; //Loads before switching players. Less loads = less randoms

Becose this script don't solve much randoms xD ( But is the best xD )

Well there are a lot of randoms in SRL that aren't solvable. That's not a problem with my script. There's not a whole lot you can do if it runs into an unsolvable random, unless you want to make a solver yourself. :p And, if you want to switch players sooner, just make the breaking time shorter. So, change line 72 to the amount of milliseconds to play until switching players/breaking.

Shouldn't be too difficult. ;) Remember 1000ms = 1s.

Haha believe me, money isn't the issue, my main has over 250M cash, he's just not a member anymore, and I have no way of making him one. :p

You could really help me out by letting me use an account with a Dragon hatchet for like an hour at the most. It shouldn't take long to get a working DTM.

All in all it's a great script, but it just doesn't seem to like to go for a long time. After a couple hours it just likes to chill in draynor marketplace. Not complaining though.

What? It walks to the marketplace? That's odd... It never did that for me. What does it say in the debug box? Or do you have a screenshot of where it's standing?

That's really weird, the walking must be seriously messed. Does it do that often? I'll have to rewrite the procedure. It's also suppose to have a failsafe if something such as that should occur, and I did test it, so I don't know why it doesn't correct itself.

But either way, that's no excuse, I'll try and fix it as soon as I get the time. Thanks for pointing this out. :)

EDIT: I forgot that many of the Autocoloring functions aren't working, so that could also be the problem.

It is possible that this is the problem. You may have also spelled "Willow" wrong in DeclarePlayers. Other than that, I can't think of why it wouldn't work. I'll test and look over it when I get time.

EDIT: Also make sure you have the latest version of the Open Dev Repository, otherwise you'll have all sorts of problems.

yes i updated dev and now it clicks;
HOWEVER, it cannot make its way to trees anymore. so right now this script is not operational atm.

Well what's it do? Does it just not walk to the right location? I know some of the Autocoloring functions don't work, so that could be it also.

Hey so its working so far, (5 minutes into it) but it seemed like it hard a little trouble when it started up. It says it couldn't find hatchet, and was going to log out, but then it went to the willows and started chopping. Is that normal?

Lol no that's not normal. I'll have to fix that. But, what hatchet were you using? Did you have it equipped or was it in the inventory? And, did you have the DeclarePlayers filled out correctly? It would be great to know all these things before I start looking at it. :)

I figured out why the hatchet detection wasn't working - Because of the new update, the hatchet handles are actually darker, so I had to remake the DTM.

Also, I think I fixed the Dragon hatchet detection, but it still needs testing. I'm not home right now, and wont be until tomorrow, and I work and have hockey tomorrow, so chances are their wont be an update until Wednesday.

I'll make a detailed list of the updates when necessary. Hopefully with these, it will work much smoother for everyone. :) Hopefully that answers your question sufficiently. :)

What road color? It shouldn't try to find any road color at all. Just the rock color, water color, and bank color.

[V.1.2]
- Made the following work with the new RS updates:
- Hatchet finding.
- Walking.
- Log counting.
- Adjusted the Finding Willows relocation section.

I'm going to elaborate on some of the latter updates for you, just in case you guys want to know what I did. :)

First off, since the RS minimap changed drastically, I had to basically rewrite how the walking worked. In the last version, I used the Autocoloring function "FindRockColor", which worked quite well. Now, however, there are darker spots on the minimap in the Draynoy market (where the merchant stalls are), and that color is the same as the rock color. As you can probably guess, that seriously messed up all the walking.

So, how I use "FindWaterColor" and my own "FindBankColor" (which doesn't work all the time because of the changes in bank floor color). Because of these changes, the walking doesn't work amazingly, but it gets the job done. The relocation failsafes I added in are now used more than they used to, simply because the area is hard the make DDTMs for.

None the less, it should still work wonderfully, and you can get back to gaining woodcutting levels like it's your job. :p I had the latest version running for an hour before it stopped. It stopped because I started the script with my account logged in, and I forgot to fill out DeclarePlayers (aside for the amount of logs to cut). Since there was no username filled out, it stopped after it logged out to take a break. :duh:

Anyway, I've rambled on enough, please post problems/suggestions/progress reports.

(just never bother to submit for membership :D)

every time i make it find a road color it finds the wrong one...
it really pisses me off...

I'm using it too right now, I have a couple suggestions.

It rotates the camera when it's cutting, and it will think that the willow disappeared.
It doesn't wait to stop moving before it tries clicking a willow, and it will sometimes missclick when it left clicks.

1. I'm guessing that's it stores the point it clicked the tree in "TP". In then checked a 20 x 20 box (I think) for the tree color. Because of this, if the camera angle moves, the coordinates may move to somewhere that doesn't have a tree. You can simply erase the camera movement in my Antiban if you wish to get rid of this.

2. The tree cut down detection isn't perfect, and to be honest, I don't think can be. It's going to fail once in a while. When you say "Left Clicks", do you mean it's left clicking the Willows to chop them? Because that's not suppose to happen I don't think. That could be one of the "RandomRClick" Antiban procedures. In which case it could randomly right click a Willow and move away.

I hope that clears a bit up. If these become a bigger problem than it's worth, I can try to make them better, I'm just not exactly sure how at this point in time.

Lol, when you said left click, I was thinking right click. :duh: You are right about the rotating camera, I think I'm going to take that out, thanks. :)

as said previously, it occasionally screws up (for me it just stops doing anything, usually with a nearly full or full inventory at trees) but its pretty good (im thinking 3 hour proggies very possible with current build)

It should work with Rev 38, but I recommend sticking with the Open-Dev. The more people test, the better, so yes, I always need help with testing. :p

Okay, try changing line 443 to this:

hey cohen, so i tried it out, but it stopped after one load and didn't deposit it. the proggy said it was successful but i couldn't find where i would change the desired load amount. i only found the amount of time wanted, and i had that at the equivilent of 60 minutes. am i doing something wrong?

Umm, the required time that you're talking about is how long your character will be logged in before it takes a 15 minute (ish) break. You fill out how many logs you want to cut, not how many loads you with to do. This is done in the DeclarePlayers:

Ahh, I thought I fixed that issue! Apparently not. If your character logs out for whatever reason, the script wont terminate, it just keeps running, thus adding to the time, and you'll end up with a proggy that's messed up. As soon as I get time, I'll try to fix that issue. It's been a real problem for a while now, and it just doesn't want to get fixed.

However, 1700 logs in one run isn't too bad, eh? :p

The lagging must be your computer because it works perfectly for me. I think I said this before, but I'm not sure - The walking is buggy, and it really tough to make it click the bank exactly because of the minimap update. As long as the relocating is working well, I don't know what else I can do to make it better, unless someone comes up with an unreal autocoloring function.

That's awesome! :D And see the above explanation about the walking. The music tab is used to check for randoms. Every time the music tab is clicked, it thinks you're in a random. Clicking the tab is used to check for false positives so SCAR doesn't try to solve a random that you aren't in. I'm pretty sure people are working hard to get that bug fixed, but I'm not exactly sure.

TBH: People don't really click the "clicktocontinue", they click the skill guide in stats at most. This also gets rid of the constant checking the music tab for anti random.
The get color check for the quick chat bubble beside your rsn. I've done a test before, and all randoms will pop up an npc chat screen.

I think that's one of the Antiban procedures, and I've never heard of it going on for 5 minutes. There seems to be a lot of bugs in the Antiban procedures. I may just end up writing my own...
