Enter "About:Config" into your address bar.

Then enter "pipe" into the filter box

Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"

and Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to a number like 30. This means that FireFox will make 30 requests at the same time.

Also right click anywhere and select New => Integer name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set it's value to "0", this removes the delay that the firefox waits before it process the information it has.

If you are using BroadBand then your page should load faster now.

Wow, interestingly enough, I think this did speed up page loading. Adding in nglayout.initialpaint.delay like mentioned is also a good idea. its safe and you can find some info here http://kb.mozillazine.org/Nglayout.initialpaint.delay

You can do that... and/or install FasterFox https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1269/
Fasterfox does all of those things exapt for the maxrequests automatcally btw
