We are a supposed to be the SRL community here, not sythe. As a mod, you should realise that the goal here is to better our scripting techniques, knowledge and attitude towards each other. You especially should put your personal quarrels aside for the community, you have a lot of influence here and should use it wisely. (not in stupid flame wars)

Xerxes... I'm not sure what kind of a scripter you are, I've seen some of your aryan scripts which were very nice. But I'm not quite sure what you are doing here.. You have a right to discuss things with us (and that's all you were doing to begin with) and I'm sad to see other members of the "community" siding against you for cheap laughs. It's a shame to see how quickly people will turn on other people for "respect" :/

I'm here to help other people and write scripts, not to bash other people or do stupid things. A little joke is funny, when it doesn't hurt anyone's feelings who you know. You all claim that SRL is the most intelligent scripting community, that may be true, but it doesn't say much for runescape cheating. We have a poetry section, come on -.-
If we want to raise the bar then let's do so. Get rid of these different ranks and "script sales" (don't even get me started on script sales). Share the knowledge around and discuss what needs to be scripted (randoms, quests, skills). Have everyone post their work and criticise it but keep feelings in mind. We are far from an organised community, Fakawi is trying his best, but we aren't working together as a team.
It would be nice to think some of this would actually happen.. But I'm sure the next post in this thread will be flaming me, or xerxes.

Sometimes I just feel like giving up.. Like it's not worth being a part of this hypocritical corruption. I think power may have been given too hastily to some of the mods.. I don't think that they are entirely bad people, just that they can get a little carried away sometimes with people they may not like. I have to think very wisely (even now) before I speak to avoid developing tension with people here who I would consider to be my friends.
Being a mod does not make you a more important person, or a better person than others. It means that you have a responsibility to make sure rules are followed... Following them yourself should not be an issue. If it becomes and issue, warnings should be given and if the problem persists, a new mod should be found.
What a shock, people have skipped my post and gone straight back to flaming xerxes and making him feel unwanted. Yay for you guys, you have a little more self esteem now.
The next person I see mistreat xerxes will probably hate me as much.
