Hey,
Here's something I made using Andorra 2d (http://andorra.sourceforge.net/). It's not finished yet and I don't know if I actually will finish it. I only made this to get used to Andorra / learn the basics. I must say I quite like it!
It's a BreakOut game with some extra bricks and effects. In my opinion the result is not too bad. With a few touches and some actual levels (level editor?) it could turn into a nice game. Currently it just loads a random field to demonstrate all the bricks.
Effects include Invisible Ball, Switch Sides, Cool Ball (no bounce), Sticky Bat, SafeWall, Evil Ball (don't let it die), Slower / Faster Ball, Bat UpsideDown, Extra Balls, Growing/Shrinking of Bat/Ball, and a MonsterBrick.
Tell me how (and if) it runs for you as I've only tried it on my own computer and tell me how you like it! =D

Instructions:
-Unpack in a folder
-Run BreakOut.exe
-Release the ball with a left click
-Quit with Escape or alt+F4
