I hear everyone talking about it, but was wondering what it is? I tried to search...

Like RSBot, but with SCAR.
reflection is a form of scripting. said to make things run faster, smoother yet color scripting can do the same.

Reflection is an accurate form of object/placement finding in SCAR.
Basically, everything in RuneScape has a unique number to represent it. Reflection gets those numbers and makes them in to coordinates on the mainscreen so that everything a character does is 99% accurate.
Jagex updates these numbers every update, though. So reflection doesn't work for 1-12 hours after an update, depending on when the person who updates the set of numbers we have gets on the computer.
Yes, a sound color-finding system can do what reflection can very easily. However, reflection is MUCH easier to do. The best programs out there are reflection with an excellent color-finding backup that can work on its own 95%+ of the time. With this, the script can- in theory- run for weeks on end; never phased by updates. ;)

Key words in theory. :p
From my personal experience, I've gotten the 15 hour reports from reflection scripts, the only downside is when RS updates, reflection is outdated, sometimes for a while.
If you want to learn to script, I would suggest learning color first, then when you decide to learn Reflection, it's a breeze, and you can then combine your knowledge to make one unreal script. :)

Hush. I know. :P
And completely agree with the second paragraph. If you learn reflection first, you will most likely find color scripting "too hard" or "not worth it", as many do. If you ever want to apply for SRL mems, you're going to NEED a color script; multiple SRL members (myself included) strongly dislike pure reflection. :/

I don't strongly dislike it, but the script definitely has to impress me if it's 100% reflection.

It's not rejected, there are just some people that think it's too easy. I myself love it, and the script I'm making now is definitely not "too easy".

No, I don't update numbers. Our reflection include works off of classes and fields that hold values (yes, some may be numbers), not numbers.

strings to be precise, correct?
Like '$A53' but then with the paragraph sign.

Have you even looked in the reflection include to see what the field constants look like?
I said it's like RSBot because it uses tiles/IDs to do stuff. It just seems pretty simple to understand for someone who doesn't know what it is.
