why isn't scar working?

i just brung up SCAR 3.21 and it said SRL was out of date, so i updated but when i looked at the SRL file it had a "!" and not a check mark...

when i run my script it says ERROR:
Unknown identifier 'FriendChars' in script
idk whats wrong i tried to setup scar all over again but its not working.
please help

Update your srl..to latest rev, or alternatively use dev svn.
