Just I few things...
Use CSS for background images that repeat on the x axis.
Use CSS for fonts also...
and don't have a table just floating around in there... You need something to support it... I suggest CSS...

Like newbiekid said, use CSS, once you get the basic properties your shorted, it gets easy, and also it is more beneficial as pages with CSS for layout generally load quicker than those with tables.
Also use strict, transitional (especially html) let's you get away with far too much sloppy code, and if you're using html, then why use xhtml syntax, e.g. <img />? that's like programming in C and using std::cin >> blah;
So yeah, sort it out :)

I suggest you create a css folder/file now... It's the only way you can make rounded corner boxes if your doing them + multi link styles and it's very hard to transfer all your text styles, table styles etc to CSS later on...

Have you even looked at my source yet?

Ok
Could anyone help me with a cross browser compadibility thing?
Everything was going smooth and I thought that I had almost finished my template but I tryed the site on firefox and there was a big gap between contenttext and contentend.
The position of contentend was detenmined by content so I firgured I make that be determined by contenttext so I changed some stuff around and tested it on firefox and it worked, but it hid the last line of text behid contentend in IE.
How could I get the text unhidden in IE?
One more problem, the 2nd line of text is out of the box in firefox but perfect in IE.
Thanks :)
Edit: Conflict solved, added a div before contentend.
Added a margin.

Did I not express myself clearly?
I know you are using xhtml syntax, and I have said this, what I am saying is that you are using xhtml syntax, but in html.
Your doctype clearly states you're using html:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
Yet, you say you're using xhtml in your <html> xmlns attribute:
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
This is what i have been saying..
I personally use xhtml 1.1, thus my document consists of a prefix of:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml11/DTD/xhtml11.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en-gb">
...
also, if you choose to use xhtml, you should use a server side language, or the file extension .xhtml to serve it as xhtml, and not text/html, note: this will not allow ie to view your page at all, but web standards are about being semantic, and not "doing this because of this" (saving it as .html etc)

Not a bad start. Nothing special within itself.
Learn basic PHP. Create dynamic pages.
Logo has no relevance to templates. Its a radio tower?.
Fonts are very basic and look quite fuzzy.
Header should be the same width as body so it will look more neat.
This site is best viewed in IE!
Looks exactly same in FireFox.
You planning on selling templates or just as a hobbie?

I know basic php but I dont feel like adding it to the site.
I dont know why I chose to have a radio tower in the logo, it just fit with me and looks good.
When I wrote that the site looked better in firefox, the font in the content box was italic and in firefox it looked blurry. I changed that a short while ago to normal style.
Im planning to make some free templates and Ill be selling some templates too.
