Name your favorite TV shows.

Please note this is NOT a game, it is a serious topic.

I am going to encode tv shows to 120mb with HQ, I will NOT post the links here, so keep your panties on (aimed at all mods and admins)

However, to kick things off I will need a large quantity of this and that to encode, so please tell me your favorite tv show, do NOT post links, just say the name of the tv show.

All help on this matter is appreciated.

*note: I have not watched all, or most of these, first 4 are good, then I was just listing shows that were popular at the dvd rental/sale store I worked at for 3 years.

Would you guys find a 120mb HQ x264 encode to be good?

There are a few ways to look at it.

1 : Size - Normal is 175mb, encoded is 120, loss of 55mb, if that tv show has 100+ episodes thats 50GB saved, meanwhile the quality loss would be around 3-6% normally, 6-12 max.

2 : Quality - As stated above, quality loss is a small thing to worry about, as the size decreases exponentially.

3 : Overall Size - The sound will be just a little better then source, only if its not at its best already, yet another + for this.

I'd say that encode, as well as a lower quality one as well for those with a poor connection, would be good.

25% better, + youtube HQ is only a few mins and not an entire episode anyways.

Plus some animes like Naruto (Shippuuden), Death Note, Code Geass and Full Metal Alchemist.

And I'd like to see Lost, as I've been told it's a pretty good show.

"The Office" must be the best current show. The best old shows would have to be "Married with Children" (almost always funny) and "The Benny Hill Show" (hit and miss). I seriously doubt that the latter two are available in HD quality, though.

"The Office" must be the best current show. The best old shows would have to be "Married with Children" (almost always funny) and "The Benny Hill Show" (hit and miss). I seriously doubt that the latter two are available in HD quality, though.

With proper filters you can sharpen, remove blur and upscale it to 720p, and from there u can take it to 1080p or 480p (DVD).
