Hey all, it's been a long time since I've posted here but I was curious about the current stability of running SCAR under WINE on Ubuntu 9.04?

I had to use SVN in Ubuntu to get a complete SRL download as SCAR wouldn't download it correctly under WINE. I have yet to try and run it but I figured I'd ask about other's previous experience with this combination.

I personally have not used it for Runescape, as I do not play that game. I did a test of the most recent version of SCAR under Wine, and all the features I see work fine. The codehints are a bit hard to read, and the GUI is a bit ugly compared to Woedows, but except for that, it seems to work.

Also, the Download SRL button works fine for me; just can not move the plugins. Just move them manually :)

Everything works fine, just make sure if you are going to use SMART that you install Java into WINE. Just download the windows version off Sun's website.

Also, get the courier new font package for windows if you have no syntax highlighting etc.
