Im starting a new game project.
For graphics im using xsi 6.5 with zbrush.
Softimage xsi 6.5 is having major lagg when i try to model a whole world.
What im looking for is a good world editor where i can import models in. I am also looking for a good 3D java libary for game development, one for networking (p2p) that supports decent 3d graphics. I want it to be pretty open ended, and to work with java (eclipse if possible its my compiler). I also need a java sound libary. A all in one package works too, but id like to not have to use a Game Engine if possible.
Thanks
NeehoSoft/Donnie

While I personally have never used it, Project Darkstar (www.projectdarkstar.com) should work for what you want.

This looks good. Will it support any graphics and worlds i import, and it is java right? Not some gui editor like fps creator?

It's pure Java, and no clue about the worlds.

Also try jMonkeyEngine (http://www.jmonkeyengine.com/).
