Hello i have heard of a bot called rid (robots in disguise)
Have you heard of it used it?
How safe is it?
I've also heard of it. I viewed their website once, and saw you have to pay for their programs. I've heard good things about it if I remember correctly. Unfortunately, that's all I know, but I'm sure someone else can help you out.
Richard.

I wouldnt know. Is that the one that is a rip off of Ibot that is committed to one script only? If so, then follow the prior sentence for a description.
Do they have anything besides the Mage Training Arena?

Do they have anything besides the Mage Training Arena?
afaik, they were making a Pest Controller or w/e a few months back.
They finished it, but I wouldn't ever pay for any bot.

From what iv read and seen its awsome, this was taken from www.robotzindisguise.com
Q: Is it possible to be banned for using this?
A: Because our software is simply the gateway to the RID servers which conduct the training, Jagex don't know and will never know what RID is, let alone detect it. RID is to my knowledge, the only bot ever made with this architecture, apart from the obvious security benefit another advantage, is it enables us to moniter every detail of every player while using RID, having sat above watching the two sides wage battle so long, we can tell you to the letter, how to come out on top. We've discovered there are mistakes people can make (for example, putting your account name in your signature at a cheating website Jagex visit, where you talk about RID), but knowledge is power and our guidelines (included in the bot download) tell you everything you need to know, to guarantee safety. Plenty of people break guidelines, but even then, the chance of being banned any given day is statistically only 0.5%. In 2009 only eleven people have been banned (to put this in perspective, the next best pay bot has had single days this year where 100 or more were banned), all eleven were breaking guidelines, repeating mistakes made in the past, and since the guidelines were released almost a year ago, no player who followed them has ever been banned - this makes RID unique in RuneScape botting history. Jagex recently attacked botting communities for spreading mis-information, and it goes on all the time. A few bots have done this in the past, and actually doing it now. A tell-tale sign, that an RS account you see in a botting video is 'bought' or 'borrowed' rather than 'earned', is when there is no wealth shown. This is because the skills shown have not been obtained botting, and the person who achieved the skills, sold his gold separately before selling the accout. Be sceptical and if something seems fishy (such as a vid of a bot that makes 400k an hour, has 99 in the skill, but only shows you about 20m gold), and it doesn't add up, then you are probably being deceived. Jagex did not specifically include RID in this statement about mis-information, but there is a real risk people will come here with pre-judgements, especially when what we say contradicts what you may have heard from Jagex. That's why we explain and justify, and never expect you to blindly believe what we say without thinking for yourself. New Jagex CEO Mark Gerhard made comments recently suggesting Jagex have 'blanket' detection systems that detect all botting, however that in itself is impossible. There is a cycle involved in macro detection: new bot developed > Jagex study bot > Jagex add to their detection systems and people begin to receive bans > new bot developed. There is not a one-size-fits-all solution in macro detection. Andrew Gower, the founder and lead programmer of Jagex, who knows a lot more on this subject than Mark, mentions this cycle himself in an article in the RuneScape knowledge base from Oct 2007. Andrew Gower's comments completely contradict and expose Mark, for either using deception as a tool to put people off macros, or just naivity as he is new to the job, and still learning. By preventing Jagex analysing our software, RID is the only bot to have broken free of this cycle. The only way to get banned with RID, is by breaking the RID guidelines. Anyone who's followed RID long enough will remember when we told people to stop using 'Magic Training 2' because of a few bans, and took it offline. We are honest about the performance of our software, and believe it or not, do care about your whole experience with our company, not just about making great software. There is a news system in the bot interface that will notify you immediately if any threat from Jagex arises, but since the beta of MT4 way back in August 2008 we have shielded our source code, and that has been enough to maintain a 100% safety record in-game.
looks good to me :) infact watching the vid on there site makes me want to buy :)

Did you get to see the source? No, I mean, it looks like a human moving the mouse :o
I'm going to download the free BlackSmith trial when it comes out, to see what it's all about.
I have friends who use it. But I've used, and have friends who've used bots from rsbots.net. One of my friends got 99 hunt with it, and used it non stop.. no ban. They have a mage trainer, it's a life time auth, and I'm pretty sure you can share it with people. I'd use that if you wanna pay. :)

neh you can't share its limited to one ip and only one account can be running per time.
If you do share it your auth code gets banned.

i know rsbots have been great through out the past. Since its a company that actually makes money from what they do they spend lots of time doing it.
Never heard of rid but idk. its all good. i would recommend not looking into that but just becoming so kick-ass at scar scripting that you can make even better ones.
hmm some new stuff there i might have to buy some of these $20 bots... such as the green drag bot from rsbots.net
Make your own?TBH, not THAT hard.
