Hey all.

:)

Anyhow, this is the story:

For one of my classes at College, GIS, I use their computers as the software i use is $1,500 and they don't want to put it on personal computers ;). (btw the software is ArcView) Anyhow, Their computer has me as a limited user. I can't do shit. I can't right click on the backround, can't click on the clock, can't open a cmd, can't go to control panel, can't install, can't delete... I can however insert my flash drive that has programs already installed on it and run from there. Do you think its possible to remove my limited user status and have admin control. of course i can't let them find out as i could get expelled... :P
;) thanks,

btw, You can email me with any good ideas at Jessedstein@gmail.com
If ur sure u have the best idea email me at Jesse@jessedstein.com (<-- don't spam bomb meh ;) )

thanks!

"i". :/

Anyways, as far as I know, it is impossible to bypass that. You can though, in IE, as I am assuming that is their browser, set the desktop with that.

2 ways to open CMD:

1) Copy it from your System32 folder (at home) onto a USB stick, then copy it to your My Documents at school.

2) At school, open Notepad, type "cmd" without the "", save it as OpenCMD.bat...Name it whatever you want, but it must be a .bat

Either of those ways will allow you to open and run CMD in school. I know they work, because I tried them :p

I disagree. He was pointing out that while yes you can do it, maybe, just maybe, you should rethink doing so, as it is highly likely they will find out.

You yourself stated that their finding out could result in your getting expelled, so ask yourself just how badly do you want/need this?

Edit: If you want it that badly and don't care if they find out, simply boot the computer off a linux cd, reset the administrator password, and have at it. But expect someone to notice if they are halfways paying attention. If they have any clue they will at the very least monitor any logins by administrator.

Hehe, that happened to my brother. He hacked the system, made himself an admin, and had the power of the teachers. He could log people off, change their password etc. He did, got in trouble and my parents had to go in to see the assistant head teacher. Lol. :p

What would you want to do with admin power on college computers anyway? Just get a personal laptop.

Solution:
Download Cain onto your USB Stick.
Go to a college computer and run Cain.
Crack an admin password
Go on that admin's user
Make your user an admin
Logoff and go on your user
Done

Wouldn't that be too obvious. I mean isn't it fishy that all of a sudden an extra admin account has been added to the computer?

Meh... he could also make an admin a limited account in place of his account :p

Or he could make his account a normal user.

Actually, yeah use Cain and brute force the admin pass then go on the admin account and make a new user like Admin1 or AdminA and just used that or something
