Ok so I made a video at first with hypercam2, not knowing it wasn't going to record sound. I can't redo the video part, so I made another video of just the soundtrack I used. So now I have two .avi files, one with the video and no sound, and another of a video of youtube, just to have the sound recorded. Any good editers, or can anyone help me? I need to get the sound from one video to the other, what can I do? Please help, will give rep, I really want this vid done.
Try using VirtualDubMod (http://virtualdubmod.sourceforge.net/)

thanks :) I'll give it a shot. If I can't figure out how to accomplish what I want, can I pm you with questions?
EDIT:
It's not finding corona.dll, I extracted the .zip, seems like it's missing files. Can you help fix this problem? or anything else I can use two use the sound of one video with another?

Sorry about that, this link should have everything. Here. (http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/virtualdubmod.cfm)
That link works for me and if you follow these steps it should be done in no time.
. Open the video file
. go to Streams & Stream List and the Add.
. then go to Video & tick Direct Stream Copy
. save as new name/avi

-_- right after I download sony vegas. Will if I can't get it done with sony vegas, I guess I will delete another program and then have to install another. Hopefully I don't have to though.
You don't have to install VDubMod ;)

Windows Movie Maker ftw?
All you do is insert video then put the audio file in the time line.

did you read the first post? Hypercam2 messed up, it didn't record sound, I fixed it, recorded the sound on a second video, need the second video audio to be on the first video. Can I do that with Windows Movie Maker? If so tell me how, I did it with sony vegas, but when I make it into a .avi file it looks like crap, all shaky and everything, I don't know why, it shouldn't be. Buckley do you know why it shows like that after rendering?
Have you tried VDubMod yet ?

I tried and it wouldn't open since then I got Sony Vegas, I got the audio with the video, but when I turn it into a .avi it blows, it plays all shaky, I really don't want to d/l another program, but if I don't get this done by tomorrow after school or get help by then from buckley or someone else who knows Sony Vegas then I'll just try VDubMod again.
Did you read my other post ? I put an updated link that should definitely work.

Yea I saw it, I just don't feel like downloading more crap right now.
Well, if you want it done :p.
And just so you know its portable, as in run from the directory, and a very small download. If you change your mind...

ok I gave it a shot, was working good till the:
. go to Streams & Stream List and the Add.
it wants me to use a sound file, it's a video file... .avi's are not listed in there :/
TsMuxer, StaxRip, MeEncoder..
The list goes on.
Edit : Make sure you use x264 as codec and MKV as container, MKV will be smaller in size and x264 will make better quality.

With vegas I saved the music track as a .wav, and used the other program to add it to the video. So I got the video with sound, but now it's to big for youtube, lmao so this was a big waste of time.

In Sony Vegas you have to choose a better quality to render your video as.
In this way it won't be 'shaky' as you say it ;}

put both avi files in movie maker, the one with sound on the audio line and the one with video on the video line, problem solved?
also with movie maker the videos are usually saved as a small file, so it should fit on youtube, or take the video you got from vegas put that into movie maker and save it as a smaller file if you can't in vegas.

Avidemux works directly with avi's. I'm not sure if it will fix your problem. I've only ever used it to join two avis. I suggest ffmpeg. It's a command line tool.
