Well, I'm thinking that Runescript is just a bunch of includes and functions. Input? Jagex is like, "OMG we so l33t we make our own script" I think... ya right.

i think its a variation of java.

Like it or not Jagex can code so i think its unfair of you to bash them like that.

Well I don't think it can be coded in plain old java, or any other language, therefore they really are using their own language, however close to java it may seem.

Yeah apparently fagex have started a project to crack the code.. but i doubt it will ever happen

Actually, Rscript is a collection of functions designed to make use of the Java engine more efficiently. It is nothing more than a mere code abstraction layer, and besides the fact that it can be used from the chat window as scripting console there is nothing special about it.

BTW, the code of the Java engine is CRAP. For a java game its good, but just not comparable to mainstream media. No wonder everyone hates the game.
