Could anyone here please explain what the difference between useing a proxy and useing TorProject is :)

One of my friends told me about it, as i asked him about runescape botting, and he said it was ALOT better than useing proxies.

/Thanks

A proxy forms a tunnel between you and their server.

Tor makes a tunnel through many different peoples computers, and thus increases privacy.

all the information that you send and recieve will be routed and rerouted so much that no1 will be able to know where its coming from.

I find Tor to be a little too laggy for me, But definetely a great way to go anonymous.
