(escuse my Eng, i am really sleepy) Straight to the point:

My computer is 3yrs old, but nothing is wrong with it, all the hardware are working properly, everything is connected properly, Using windows xp SP 3.0, and no, nothing is overheating. The restart is immediate, and only ever happen right after I satisfy above condition(s).

problems
A* My computer restarts on its own when using certain applications
- When using the autoplay for game "homeworld 2" (later I found, this was infected). However, if I start game by clicking myself, it works
- When starting an uptodate, registered version of "speedupmypc" from Uniblue (other software from same software bundle, "Driver Scanner" and "Registry booster" both work).

B* restarts when I am visiting certain parts of certain websites
- entering the "city" (multiplayer) in "deadfrontier.com (Other Online multiplayer games work fine though, Runescape is fine)"
- While trying to attach pictures on a yahoo email address.

What I did before problem.
1. Cleaned computer of junk using speedupmypc, registry booster, defrag, disk cleanup.
2. finished dl of cracked game Dawn of war 2 from vitality.
3. Unzipped and installed it, got a virus prompt for trojan, but i ignored it, and decided that I would rid of it later.
4. Installed game, but my graphics card was crap, and couldn't handle the graphics, so I quit and deleted all but the unzipped iso.
5. got Peazip, but computer had some unusal lag while installing it.
6. used Peazip once, on a MMORPG called "wakfu".
7. Computer got slower, so tried speedupmypc... which lead to a prompt restart of comp.
8. decided to surf web, and on certain sites, it just restarts, only on those sites.
8. Used bitdefender, malwarebytes, super-antispyware,mcafee, restoring computer to earlier time (selection is there, but did not work), reinstalled flashplayer... none worked

Help? what's wrong with my computer? Why is it restarting so promptly and selectively? Most importantly, how may this issue be solved?

p.s. Scar 3.21 now freezes for abit when I run a script on it (only for first time program run since last restart), and it has whole bunch of error message when I stop the program after some time of it running.

hmmm, you installed a trojan knowingly might be the problem... It might be that it did some crazy crap before you could use antivirus stuff after you booted it up....

The virus scanners are taking 16+ hours to complete =[.... Do you guys have recommendations on which virus scanner to try next? I'm currently using a registered norton anti virus (provided free by dad's company). Detected few trojans & adware, but this problem still persists =\.

Name of the virus?

Kaspersky Rescue Disk , a bootable DOS Based Kaspersky Antivirus to perform virus scanning and remove viruses on Windows without booting the operating system first. Using Kaspersky rescue disk to remove anti virus consider the most safety way without risking your computer OS getting infected again.

Hobbit recommended it to me, I haven't used it yet as I fixed my own problem, but I think this should work for you.

omg. Wish i read that before I reformatted (5 long hours of transfering and installing >.>).

I figured it was a windows core problem because I cannot install / update DirectX, which the file itself was messed. The viruses... detected 2 virus, 2 trojan, 6 riskware when it was 30% done xD. I just said Screw it, and reformatted. I'll get kaspersky now :). thanks for all the suggestions.

16 HOURS FOR A 3 YEAR OLD COMPUTER?! thats crap TERRIBLE. my computer is at least 5 years old, and it finishes in 3.
Try downloading Rogers Online Protection, and give it a good virus scan.

If all else fails, re-format your hard drive.
