Just a quick question.

Do they work like:

That, or does each computer have the same IP?

Each computer will have it's own different LAN ip, but they will all operate under the same outgoing IP through the modem.

So the Internet IP is the same for each computer, but the LAN ip will be different (i.e. 192.168.1.100, 192.168.1.101...) while your internet IP will be like 64.128.25.13 for all

Each computer has a different internal IP address.
That is, an IP address that is only for that computer, on that network. Once you get outside the modem, all three of those computers have the same IP address to the world.

So, if I had 3 computers, the LAN IP's would be 192.168.1.2, 192.168.1.3, 192.168.1.4, and the External IP's would still be 75.185.86.67?

How would I make it to where the IP would be different :S

You wouldn't, unless you have a good ISP and can explain them the need for multiple external IP addresses.

You would have to sign up for a internet package that allowed multiple IP's. They are usually business edition internet packages but there are some home ones out there that give you two. Business ones you can get plans where you get a whole range, for example you could purchase the range 212.34.122.100 - 212.34.122.150

Meh, that wouldn't be bad.

I've been thinking about buying a VPS, but would a VM be possible to have a different IP?

A VM on the same computer as one on you're network? No because its using the host computers network interface and communicating with the same network.

Proxy's give you a different outgoing IP address, but I'm guessing that's not what you really want.

You can forward different ports to different local computers.
Eg, 75.185.86.67: 80 -> 192.168.1.2: 80 and
75.185.86.67: 22 -> 192.168.1.3: 22
and 75.185.86.67: 8080 -> 192.168.1.4 : 80

Maybe a different local IP but not external. That makes no sense whatsoever.
