Stop motion tutorial

Well, lets start off with what stop motion is...

Have you ever seen those cool videos where inanimate objects can move and such?

Such as
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJzU3NjDikY

Thats an extraordinary stop motion.

They did that video by taking ALOT of pictures :).

Lets say you want to move object from Point A to B you would have to take a picture of A and B accordingly.

A------------------------------------- B
----A----------------------------------B
----------A----------------------------B
--------------A------------------------B
--------------------A------------------B
-------------------------A-------------B
-------------------------------A-------B
------------------------------------A--B
----------------------------------------A

So lets say your moving a sock, you take a picture of the start of the scene, DON'T change any thing in the background, move anything around except the sock, which you would move a couple of inches in the direction of where you want it to go, then you would take another picture. Keep doing that until the sock is where you want it. When you view it on the computer or the camera quickly, it actually looks like the sock is moving.

Each scene , the camera angle must not change(maybe a tripod will help)
The background must not change.
The lighting must not change.

Of course for each of those 'rules', the better it does not change, the better the final product comes out.

When you finish your stop motion movie on the camera, you will need to move it on your computer and once its on.

1. Open windows Movie maker
2. Before you do anything, go to Tools->Options->Advanced->Picture Duration-> Make it the lowest it can go.
3.Import the photos
4.Click play and enjoy:)
5.Edit the final touches :p

Done!

I hope you enjoy this ;)

I just use my phone and constantly click pause and continue and move the object I want...

Bit simple but good anyway... Thanks for the video share btw ;)
