I was thinking of making a program that is a AIO virus scanner.

You run the app, choose drive letter to scan and then a command-line scanner from like AVG, norton.. begins and when its done, next one and next one, when all AV's are done, it tells you and a report will be shown.

Option(s) will be very limited : choose drive letter

Coding wise its easy, the size of the complete thing could be a little big but I think I can compress it 5-10MB for easy usage.

Comments?

PS : VB 6 as language, don't talk about it tho xD.

Sounds like a nice project, if you make it discrete.

Why not just have a right click : fast scan option ? :)

I don't know what you meen by discrete but if you meen like warez stuff, then I got ya :p

Discrete, meaning it does not take too much computer resources or is easily reducable or works in the background you know... :p.

Some info:
AVG takes up loads of memory when scanning.
AVG takes a couple/few hours to scan my laptop.
so a scanner that scanned a whole drive with every scanner will take years will it not?

I guess I could make it so that you can choose scanners, and add a comment that says like ''Fast to scan'' ''Takes ages, but is good!'' and so.. xD

I already know there are these out there, and ALOT of them, but just wanted to make one, as you said - good learning experience :)
