View Full Version : Plugin problem? Can't set up SRL ....

That is me ^.. so sad cause SRL DOESN'T WORK AHHHHHWWAHHHHHHHHHH.
(actually it's claire from heros..)

Okay so i've set up Scar/SRL like at least 15 times on many different computers.
Because of new computer.. computer got reformatted.. etc.

So now i'm trying to install it on a new computer.. and it's not working for me.

I've been following this guide: http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47714

I have SCAR 3.21 installed, I have tortoise SVN 32 bit I just installed today, I have that other Subversion.. Tigrus? (do you use this one to go Tools - Options - SRL download - Subversion Repository ?
I have both these programs and i can still not click on it)

Sorry i'm not that good at computers.

So I followed the entire guide, I tried doing what it said in my
C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.21 folder and my
C:\Documents and Settings\ff1\Desktop\scarprerelease folder neither work.
Up to the step where you have to move the plugins.. every folder has a green checkmark.

Once I have to move the plugins, I move the folders from the 'move the plugins' folder to the 'plugins' folder and they look like this:

draggg those to this:

And they're not check marks.. they're question marks.
When I try to compile scar.. it gives me errors about SMART.dll or something.
I can post the error if it will help you figure out what's wrong..
But i just deleted everything cause I went on a rage.

Yeah.. i've tried reinstalling scar, deleting both folders, reinstalling .. multiple times.
Nothing works.

When I try to go to SCAR - Tools - Options - SRL download - Move Plugins
It says
Error : Couldn't move the plugins from the SRL folder to the Plugins folder.

Yeah.. i've spent about 3 hours trying to get this stupid thing to work.. I'll rep+ you if you can help :( .

1)question marks don't matter. i have tonnees of those, aswell as exclamation marks. It just means things were moved/changed.

2)Do you have reflection installed?

3)Try downloading my SMART.scar and replacing it with yours. I replaced it from some thread a while ago..cant remember which one though...but it was back when smart was broken.

You have to run scar as a admin in vista/windows 7.

What script are you trying to run? Problem could be the script itself.

The problem is not the script itself lol.
I ran this script yesterday on my other computer which is also xp.

I'm out of time.. i gotta go to work in 30 mins.
Please continue to post ideas.
I am desperate :|

And i'll try setting up reflection.. but i'm not sure if that'll help.. as I'm pretty sure it's a problem with the plugins.


I'm running windows xp.. there is no 'run as admin' option.. that's only for vista afaik.

I do but I'm out of time.
I don't have access to my personal computer.. i'm using my dad's.
And my mum's gonna be home pretty soon.

So I won't be able to be back on until tuesday.. that's when they're both at work.

IDK i spent 4 hrs trying to figure it out..
keep posting ideas IDK. I followed the guide that i posted EXACTLY.. and still it doesn't work.
gave me errors for the embedded_smart.dll
and then sometimes it says i don't have certain folders IDK.

Thanks for all the help so far.

Lance No, youll know when its fixed. To my knowledge if your smart enough you can 'steal' hooks from RS bot, but dont make a thread asking how, no one will help you :p. Stop wondering and keep waiting. Why not learn how to make a REAL/Color script...?

And @ YoHoJo: I'm more skilled with colors than reflection. I don't want to make a script, I have another project that only reflection can do =/ but eh guess It will wait till later.
