So SCAR can only target clients that are being run in WINE, so I need to run runescape in WINE. I know I have to install the Windows version of Java, and I have so. I used to be able to run it, but today I tried and had no luck. (runescape.exe from jagex's website). So I tried to run SMART. That ran successfully.

It's stumping me why I can't run runescape in the exe, while I can in SMART.
Can some one help me with this please?

Try emulating a desktop environment and running it that way. It might allow you to use applications inside the desktop. Would kinda run like a VM.

Let me know :)

I think you need to install internet explorer through wine aswell? Or firefox if the rs client supports it

It doesn't load in Firefox, or Opera as well. And IE comes with WINE afaik.

Instal IE6 in Winetricks, see if that works.
