View Full Version : Noob question - how do I set up SCAR?

I've read and tried to follow Coh3n's tutorial but failed miserably.

I've been fumbling with SCAR for a moment now and I can't get it to work... I've been trying to update SRL and so far it looks like this :


Scar>Includes>SRL>SRL>reflection
>srl-opendev>SRL
>srl-opendev>SRL


So to make it clear, I've got a SRL folder in my SRL folder, and both of them contain a srl-opendev folder, which both contain a SRL folder. I'm totally lost.

Could someone clarify what setup works to me? Thanks !

There's the link.
Delete everything you have, and start fresh. That tutorial is NOOB PROOF.
Also dont wory about any reflection stuff yet, its been broken for a long time, so no need to even get it yet.

Should look like this:

C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.21\includes\SRL
and then stuff like

C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.21\includes\SRL\SRL\core
C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.21\includes\SRL\SRL\skill
C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.21\includes\SRL\SRL\misc

Ect,
Basically in your INCLUDES folder, make a folder called SRL. And then just right click it, SVN Checkout (The URL in the tutorial) and thats it.

You are supposed to copy the SRL folder that is in your srl-opendev folder into the SRL folder that is in your Includes folder :p
meaning >srl-opendev>SRL Should be in
Scar>Includes
